DIRECTIONS Council for Vocational Services Society is a not for profit organization representing 32 member agencies throughout Nova Scotia. The Council’s mandate is to assist and support member organizations in the delivery of services that promote the abilities and inclusion of persons with disabilities in the every day activities of their community.

Divert NS
We are a not-for-profit leading by example, championing our province to recycle and live in more sustainable ways. We achieve this through a combination of stewardship programs, education and awareness initiatives, strategic partnerships, and providing new opportunities and approaches to waste diversion and reduction.
We thank Divert NS for their generous donation allowing us to begin and continue our recycling program here at Heatherton Activity Centre.

As a small Adult Day Program with a big heart, we strive to do and provide the maximum amount of training and recreation we are able to do with our participants. We are always looking to grow our relationships and are open to possibilities of welcoming new partnerships to be able to expand our limits of our programs!
